Box Office Hours and Policies
We require a 50% deposit when you reserve your group seats. The balance is due on the day of the performance you are attending. We accept checks made payable to Playwrights Theatre, Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Please note: When using a credit card, there is a $2.00 service fee for the entire order (not per ticket).
If you numbers change from your initial reservation, we ask that you please call us immediately to adjust the count as some shows do sell out.
If you are reserving seats for a book club, please know we now send electronic versions of the scripts, or if your club members individually register on our website, scripts can be downloaded from our special book club section. If you need paper versions of scripts, please let us know. We cannot provide paper versions of scripts for any of the Forum Reading Series Plays, however.
School Groups that would like to attend, please let us know if you would like a copy of the script as well as the study guide.
A post-show discussion is available following the performance with our Artistic Director, John Pietrowski. However, we recommend that you book your tickets and schedule this early to guarantee the discussion.
Need a place to take your group to dine before or after the show? We are happy to recommend a place for you. Just ask when you book your tickets and be sure to tell the restaurant we sent you. We also have a listing of a number Madison restaurants on this website.
