It’s the 1950s and Cold War paranoia has gripped the nation. Behind the scenes, the CIA is using LSD on willing and unwilling participants to test its effective as a possible weapon against covert agents in the world of espionage. MKUltra is a historical reality. The play is about two unwilling participants: A young man diagnosed as schizophrenic and admitted under the “care” of a CIA asset interested in breaking the will and remaking the identity of his patients and a young scientist who falls prey to the experimentations of his CIA-sponsored boss, the “The Dirty Trickster.”
