Lizzie Bright is a unique coming-of-age play based on the true event of an island’s destruction in 1912. Peopled by a colorful cast of characters - the crusty Mrs. Cobb, the wicked Mrs. Elia Hurd, a bully named Willis, a racist Sheriff, greedy church deacons, the puritannical Reverend Buckminster, and two 12-year old heroes: Lizzie Bright Griffin and Turner Buckminster III - this lovely, heartbreaking, and very real story doesn't always go where you think it will, but in the end it goes to a movingly spiritual place.
