Desperate Love is a cautionary tale about love and the lengths that parents go to preserve love. At the center of the story is Noah, a charismatic sixteen year-old boy with an uncontrollable temper. Noah’s destructive behavior tears apart his family, which includes Danny, his fourteen year old brother, and his parents Peter and Laurie. Providing back story is Babe, Noah’s birthmother, who placed Noah with Peter and Laurie upon his birth. As events escalate, the parents decide to remove Noah from the family and send him to a wilderness program for difficult children. In the final scene, Noah and his parents meet in the wilderness to determine his future.
