Holiday Giving

Playwrights Theatre will again be collecting toys for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots, gently used coats for Jersey Cares, pet items for the Randolph Township Municipal Pound, and the Secure the Call Foundation.
 
In the lobby of Playwrights Theatre, you will find four collection boxes. Each is marked and you can drop your items at 33 Green Village Road in Madison, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. All the details are below and we thank you for sharing some good will.

Marine Corps Reserve TOYS FOR TOTS
 

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.


Please donate new and unwrapped toys.

12th Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive
 

The goal of the 12th Annual Coat Drive is to collect and distribute 20,000 "gently used" winter coats to at-risk men, women, children and infants. Please donate your gently used winter coats.

Randolph Township Municipal Pound

The Randolph Township Municipal Pound makes every effort to find homes for their animals, including placing them with no-kill shelters. Donate: dry or canned dog food, dry or canned cat food, dogruns, rabbit hutches are needed so that they can help rescue more rabbits, used clean blankets, towels and small rugs, toys for cats and dogs.

Secure the Call Foundation

Secure the Call Foundation takes old cell phones, inspects them, wipes clear the software and old numbers, reprograms and cleans them, charges their batteries and then reprograms them to be used as free 911 emergency phones. Any phone that can be turned on can access 911 services even without a carrier service plan. Then the phones are distributed to domestic violence shelter, senior centers, neighborhood watch groups, school crossing guards and other agencies with an immediate need for 911 access. Please donate cell phones and batteries only. Chargers or accessories are not needed because they use brand new chargers for the emergency cell phones.
