Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey, is a professional (Actors' Equity Association) theatre that provides opportunities for writers to develop their works in a nurturing environment and connect with new audiences. Positions currently available:
Playwrights Theatre is seeking a well-organized, confident professional to work with the Producing Director and Development Consultant to identify and solicit individual and corporate donors; sponsors; foundations and government agencies. The Associate will focus on individual donors, corporate relations and special event planning. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and passionate about the arts. Full time position with flexibility. Salary commensurate with experience; opportunities for advancement within the organization.

ActorsPlaywrights Theatre auditions actors on a show-by-show basis for our productions and readings.
We also attend the biannual New Jersey Theatre Alliance combined auditions. This is a lottery audition in which Equity and non-Equity actors have an opportunity to audition for all of New Jersey's professional theatres. This is an excellent chance for us to see your work and we have hired many actors from these auditions for readings, festivals and tours.
